Stelis® is an ultrasonic cleaner stemming from remarks from our friends who work as nurses and aides, and who regularly told us about the problems they had with the daily cleaning of the removable dentures of the patients they care in ALAs, clinics, hospitals or at home.
A true repugnance is systematically evoked about dentures that sometimes appear disgusting, often being few cleaned or even not at all. Otherwise, nursing staff does not benefit from specific training and lacks time to carry out meticulous cleaning, which are nevertheless essential to braces.
The main challenge was to achieve a removable, waterproof, small (120 ml) tank, that would be just as effective as our laboratory ultrasound devices. Creating the LAVO SARL company and designing Stelis® were a natural and logical continuation of my profession of dental technician.
We entrusted the distribution field to companies which are specialized in medical fields.
